On this fifteen day tour, you will visit the beautiful World Heritage Site, Halong Bay, visit fascinating places in Hanoi such as the “Hanoi Hilton,” the Ho Chi Minh Complex, and the Temple of Literature, and take a van to the north to see the colorful ethnic minorities in their villages, homes, and Sunday markets. You will see Hoi An- home to people of Chinese and Japanese descent who brought with them their traditions and their architecture. You will visit the lush Mekong Delta, the famous Cu Chi tunnels, and vibrant Ho Chi Minh City (known prior to the war as Saigon, and still called Saigon by its residents and most Vietnamese people). After visiting Saigon, you will fly to Siem Reap in Cambodia to discover the marvel of the Angkor Complex including Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Banteay Srei, Ta Prohm, and the jewel in the crown, Angkor Wat!

Most of the dinners on this tour will include fish. We will have chicken or meat on both shabbatot and when we are in Saigon and eat at Chabad. All cooking is done under the strict supervision of our shomer mitzvot tour manager, and to the extent possible within the guidelines of kashrut, we provide authentic local cuisine. On this tour you will enjoy a comprehensive look at Vietnam and Cambodia and it will be an experience you will treasure always.

Day 1 (Tuesday) : Hanoi arrival day

Arrival Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, meet the driver who pick you up  and transfer to hotel.Overnight at hotel in Hanoi

Day 2 (Wednesday) : Ha Noi – Ha Long bay

At around 8h00 a:m we will leave hotel for Ha Long bay by  private  bus . Arrival Ha Long bay at noontime , , get on private  cruise check in .Have lunch while cruising in the magnificent Ha Long Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations such as: Teapot Islet, Monster Face Islet, Torch Islet, Dragon Islet,  Visiting the Vung Vieng fishing village – the famous Pearl-growing village and the fishing tanks of the local people. Tourists can observe the process of feeding pearl as well as the life of local people on Halong bay. The cruise sails from the Vung Vieng fishing village to Cong Do sleeping area.Tourists can treasure the wonderful beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay at the sunset, admire the striking islands and islets, relax and savor the fresh and peaceful atmospherewhich could hardly be found in land .. Onboard the vessel, surrounded by a stunning setting in motion, attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking (spring roll) .Overnight on a private  cruise Ha Long bay

Day 3 (Thursday) : Ha Long – Ha Noi – Night train to Sapa

The morning is the best time of the day on Bai Tu Long  bay. You might like to head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions or relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice to watch the stunning scenery unfold before you. A light breakfast of pastries, tea and coffee will be served in our restaurant. The final stage of your trip is to be taken through the mysterious caves and amongst the remote islets via local rowing boats. The breath-taking beauty of this World Heritage region will certainly impress you. Following this, you will journey back to the main ship. It’s time to check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland. After a final early brunch and a last farewell from our crew at 11:30, you will board our transfer boat and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.Arrival Hanoi at around 16h30 . Have one room at 3* hotel for shower before going to the train station for night train to Sapa . Overnight on private carbin on train

Day 4 (Friday) : Lao Cai – Sa Pa .Overnight at hotel in Sapa

Early morning, arrival at Lao Cai station at 05.00AM. Pick up and transfer for breakfast at hotel in Sapa. We will walk from Sapa towards Muong Hoa valley where can admire magnificent landscape. Here you will discover the wonderful scenery of Hoang Lien mountain ranges and meet Black H’mong tribes. Trek on  small trails going to Y Linh Ho village (with Black H’mong tribe). Trek through lush rice – terraces towards Lao Chai village,experiencing Black H’mong people’s daily life and traditional culture. Next cross suspension bridges as you walk through Lao Chai village to Ta Van village inhabited by Zay minorities exhibiting strong Chinese culture.Back to Sapa and start preparing for Shabbat.Overnight at hotel in Sapa

Day 5 (Saturday) : Sa Pa leisure time . Overnight at hotel in Sapa

After prayers and breakfast , you will have your own   time walking   to visit Ham Rong Mountain with orchid garden enjoy to see the show in Ham Rong Moutain then walking to visit Sapa Town.Overnight at hotel in Sapa

Day 6 (Sunday) : Sa Pa- Bac Ha .Overnight at hotel in Hanoi

After having breakfast at hotel, you will check -out then put all your suitcase on the bus that is heading to Bac Ha market  – Bac Ha market ( Sunday market ) is the biggest ethnic market in the Lao Cai province, where you will find buffaloes, horses, blacksmiths, saddlers, but also traditional medicine doctors, with their thousands of mountain herbs and plants, and lots of traditional clothes and local artefacts. Several groups of deep-coloured Hmong are found there, as well as Dao, Tay, Nung, and Phu.After visiting Bac Ha market, our tourguide and driver  will take you to Ban Pho village seeing more tribes . Afternoon you will driver to Hanoi on the new highway, arrival Hanoi at around 18h30 .Overnight at hotel in Hanoi

Day 7 (Monday) : Ha Noi – Hoi An .Overnight at hotel in Hoi An

At around 8h30 a:m we will leave hotel for hilights in Hanoi such as : Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho”s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh”s house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda,. Continue to visit the the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam. Vietnam”s first university constructed in 1070, it”s gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam”s past . Day 8 (Tuesday) : Hoi An tour . Overnight at hotel in Hoi An

Leaving Hoi An for My Son HolyLand.Arriving in My Son – the Holyland surrounded by the marvelous mountains, 48km west of Hoi An. My Son was chosen as a religious center, built in the late 4th century under the Cham’s King Bhadravaman. It is a huge religious complex with over 70 towers and temples of different architectures. Wander through the elaborate carvings and sculptures of the Cham people, tourists are welcomed at the Old Tower of the Cham.Spend 2 hours to enjoy and discover the beauty of Ancient buildings at of the Champa Kingdom with our tour guide.Leaving My Son for boat station and taking a boat trip on Thu Bon river. You could visit the living of the local people and feeling the fresh air and see the beautiful views along the river. The boat trip will finish at Bach Dang Boat station. Day 9 (Wednesday): Hoi An – Can Tho .Overnight in Can Tho

Morning flight from Da Nang / Hoi An to Can Tho , arrival Can Tho at noontime  ,meeting your tour guide who pick you up to hotel in Can Tho . Afternoon you will have walk  to Cai Son village paths to look at the rural activities of the local people, through the canal, rice paddies, orchard, Noodle factory. Stop at Mr Ba Cong’s orchard, walk around the garden and enjoying fruit, drinking tea, chatting with the local people to see the Mekong inhabitants’ life.You feel like relaxing at the peaceful and quite garden .Overnight at hotel in Can Tho

Day 10 (Thursday): Can Tho –My Tho – Ho Chi Minh city

Morning take boat trip to visit Cai Rang  floating market . Cai Be  market is one of the three biggest markets (Cai Be, Phung Hiep, Cai Rang) in the Mekong Delta. Visiting Cai Rang Market, you will have chance to experience a special type of market in which all purchasing activities take place on boats and ships. The shops and stalls at the market are boats of different sizes. You can visit the market at any time of the day but it is most crowded and busy from sunrise to 9:00 am . We depart to a world where water is immense, sky is endless and land is verdant, the Mekong Delta. This is the largest «rice basket» of Vietnam with endless waterways and verdant orchards. Arrive at Ben Tre town, embark and cruise along the Bến Tre River– a tributary of Mekong River to discover the local life. Stop at a coconut candy home factory located along the canal to witness the process of making the candies and other souvenirs. Continue the rowing trip through the canals to visit Vam Xep village in Ben Tre with some vestiage of the ancient civilization . Day 11 (Friday) : Cao Dai temple – Cu Chi tunnel

In the morning we drive to the region near the Cambodian border. This is home to the unique Cao Dai temple. This religion is an odd mix of Buddhist, Taoist, Confucianism and Christianity. Join Cao Dai worshippers for their daily noontide ceremony where hundreds of worshipers attired in lively red, yellow blue and white, chant religious hymns. After that we will continue to the Cu Chi tunnels ,on our way there we will drive through pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers.

Day 12 (Saturday) : Ho Chi Minh City Tour

You will go to visit some highlights in Sai Gon such as : The War Remnants Museum has a wealth of images from the wars, the most moving being a gallery entitled ‘Requiem’ which is dedicated to Vietnamese and foreign journalists and photographers who perished during the French and American conflicts. The Reunification Palace was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 30, 1975 when the North Vietnamese. The  Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office , Ben Thanh Market – a fantastic place for bargains of every kind , Thien Hau Pagoda – one of the most beautiful pagoda in Sai Gon.Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city

Day 13 (Sunday) : Ho Chi Minh City – Siemriep

Take morning flight from Ho Chi Minh city   to Siem Riep. Pick up at airport in Siem Riep, transfer to hotel . Visit to Gate of the Death, Spean Thma, T Keo, Terrance of Srang, and Prasat Kravan. PM: Visit the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology, visit Bakheng Temple and enjoy a romantic sun set view form Bakheng Hills.Overnight at hotel in Siemriep

AM: Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
PM: Visit the floating village of Chhong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Visit the village and take an excursion in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia.Relaxation with traditional Khmer foot massage for 1 hour in the city..Overnight at hotel in Siemriep

Day 15 (Tuesday) : Siemriep – Bangkok

Free leasure time , take flight from Siemriep to Bangkor for connecting flight to Bengurion airport . Home sweet home
